The 30th Anniversary Coins

In order to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars in 2007, Hasbro started the TAC (The Anniversary Collection) line in 2006, and ended it at the beginning of 2008. Each figure came packaged with a special commemorative Star Wars coin.

In addition to the 60 basic coins released in the regular TAC line, there were 12 gold chase variations, 8 Saga Legends coins which were based on each feature movie and the Star Wars expanded universe, and 5 mail-away Vintage Coins. Besides all those coins, Hasbro released exclusive Star Wars coins at conventions. Due to a manufacturer problem, the first 3 waves of TAC figures came with scratched coins, but Habro offered to replace them for mint coins per mail without any additional cost.
