Lucasfilm Campus, San Francisco, CA, 8/30/2008
We decided to drive from Seattle down to San Francisco over Labor Day weekend, and what would be a visit to San Francisco, without a brief stop at the 23-Acre Lucasfilm Campus in the Presidio National Park.
If you get into the city via the Golden Gate Bridge, you pretty much end up at the Presidio immediately after you get off the bridge. It's really easy to get to, and there was plenty of parking on the street.
After a brief, very sunny but chilly walk we ended up right in the middle of the Letterman Digital Arts Center, got some Starbucks coffee, and took some pictures. Unfortunately, there is no public access into any of the buildings, but we did peak through some of the windows ... and saw some cubicals with lots of toys from Wall-E and other ILM projects.
