Star Wars Collectors Meeting - September 26, 2005 at Gus Lopez's house

If you are into collecting Star Wars you've probably heard the name Gus Lopez before. Gus has one of the most amazing Star Wars collections on this planet! He's a very nice guy and he gave us an awesome tour through his Star Wars museum. I am only posting a few pictures here, but you can check out his collection on his own website, Toysrgus.com. I also found an interview with him on another collecting website, which is very informative and features more pictures of his unbelievable collection: www.eternalcollector.com.

But, let me mention a few things that I saw: The original Death Star (yes, THE Death Star!), a Mace Windu AOTC stunt saber, a Hoth Blaster Rifle, original movie props from all six movies, Krayton Dragon Bones, vintage Star Wars figures in carded minty mint condition, lots of unproduced toys (e.g. vintage Leia Boussh with headset, vintage Luke in robes), hundreds of cereal boxes (pick a country, he's got it!), prototypes, hundreds of Lucasfilm crew jackets and t-shirts, George Lucas' highschool year book, etc... You can easily spend hours and hours looking through his collection. My favorite Star Wars props were the 3 walls from the original Return Of The Jedi bunker on Endor.

If you are interested to read a little write-up about the 2007 get-together for the holidays at Gus' place, please click here.

By the way, Pam's collection is equally impressive! She's been collecting japanese anime toys for many years and has a huge collection of Stich (Disney's Lilo & Stich) memorabilia. If you'd like to see more pictures of Gus' and Pam's collection, visit their website, please.

If you find yourself in one of the pictures and want to be removed from this website, please send an email to remove@jedi-business.com. Thank you.
