This Battle Droid action figure was released in
2012 in the Movie Heroes toy line.
Hasbro gave the figure twelve joints and included
two accessories (blaster, backpack).
Here is what we noticed when we took a closer look at the Droid:
- This Battle Droid figure was part of the "Geonosis Arena Battle" 3-pack
- The other two figures in this set were Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jango Fett
- This Battle Droid appears to be a very minor repaint of the 2009 Battle Droid, which was released in the Legacy Collection Geonosis Arena 2-pack
- The battle droid can be "folded-up" into a sleeping position
- The blaster fits OK into both hands
- In some cases it's possible to attach the included blaster to the side of the backpack, but this is not the case here (the blaster is missing the peg for it)
- The droid stands well despite loose joints and skinny legs
- The backpack can be plugged firmly into a hole in the back of the figure
The articulation details are as follows: ball-jointed and pull-out neck, 2 ball-jointed shoulders, 2 swivel elbows, 2 ball-jointed legs, 2 swivel knees, 2 swivel ankles
