Compare this Commander Cody figure
This Commander Cody figure was released individually carded in November 2009 as part of The Legacy Collection's Revenge Of The Sith wave. Commander Cody can be seen in several scenes, most notably when Darth Sidious initiates Order 66.
The figure is ultra articulated with 14 joints, even having ball-joints in both legs. So, theoretically he could do a split :) Hasbro included five accessories with the figure, a blaster rifle, Obi-Wan's lightsaber hilt, Cody's helmet, a removable jet pack and a 2-piece Darth Sidious hologram. The helmet is a perfect fit, looks in scale and covers the entire head front to back. The blaster rifle fits well into both hands. The jet pack can be plugged into a hole in the figure's back, but it sits very loosely and is likely to come off when you move or reposition Cody. The lightsaber hilt doesn't fit well into either hand. It appears as if Hasbro planned to make the lightsaber attachable to the belt, because there is a small hole in it, but unfortunately the hole is not deep and wide enough to hold the saber. It sure would have looked cool if they had managed to make this work! The hologram accessory is a 2-piece, with a base and a small translucent Darth Sidious. The hologram can be plugged into the base and stays firmly attached. The base fits into Cody's left and right hand and looks great.
Hasbro put a lot of work into this mold. It really looks nice and very detailed with lots of scars, wear and damage on the clone's armor. The odd thing is that Hasbro kept the paint application all white and clean. There are no dirt or blast marks to be found anywhere. If you compare the pictures to the movie still, you will also notice that Hasbro mirrored the paint wrong on Cody's belt. The belt box is orange where it's supposed to be gray, and gray where it's supposed to be orange.
This figure could have been the definite version of Clone Commander Cody, but it's not. It's close, but it's not quite there yet. Hasbro got the mold right with lots of joints, details and battle scars, a great head sculpt, a perfect fitting helmet and great accessories. Unfortunately, what prevents it from being the definite version are the wrong colored belt boxes, a flimsy fitting jet pack, a lightsaber hilt the figure can't hold (nor can it be attached, despite a hole in the belt), and an all white clone armor despite the battle damage. However, it is as of 2009 the best Commander Cody figure available, and it's most definitely worth picking up as it is much better in every way compared to any previously released Cody figure.
Clone Commander Cody receives a hologram from Chancellor Palpatine telling the commander to execute Order 66. Cody immediately orders clone troopers to fire upon Obi-Wan Kenobi, which sends the Jedi hurtling into one of the sinkholes on Utapau.
