This Darth Maul action figure was released in
2012 in the Movie Heroes toy line.
Hasbro gave the figure ten points of articulation and included
four accessories (red double-bladed lightsaber, soft-goods sith robe, binoculars, small probe droid, probe droid projectile).
Here is what we noticed when we took a closer look at the Sith:
- This Darth Maul action figure was packed-in together with a Sith Speeder
- The figure is based on the 2010 Legacy Collection Darth Maul from the "Tatooine Desert Ambush" battle pack
- For a comparison between all three Darth Maul Sith Speeder sets (1999 / 2010 / 2012), please have a look at the Darth Maul Sith Speeder page
- Darth Maul fits well onto the Sith Speeder
- The lightsaber and the binoculars fit well into both of the figure's hands
- The soft-goods Sith robe can easily be put on or taken off the figure
- The robe doesn't feel overly bulky
- The small Sith Probe Droid fits well into the back of the speeder
- There was a bigger Probe Droid included, but no stand to place it on
- Darth Maul stands well without a stand
The articulation details are as follows: swivel neck, 2 swivel shoulders, swivel right forearm, swivel left elbow, swivel waist, 2 swivel legs, 2 swivel knees
Packaging Text
Darth Maul rides a Sith speeder across the Tatooine desert to capture Queen Amidala, who has escaped from Naboo. Maul's speeder is pared down to its essential components to make it as swift as possible. He flies quickly across
the desolate landscape on the speeder, heading toward the location provided by a probe droid.
