This Darth Sidious (Palpatine) action figure was released in
1999 in the Episode I Collection.
Hasbro gave the figure ten points of articulation and included
Here is what we noticed when we took a closer look at the Sith:
- Darth Sidious has 10 points of articulation, but because of the plastic robe, the articulated waist and the movable legs are useless
- The head can be moved, but because of the plastic hood it can only be moved a little to the left and the right
- There are no balancing problems
- Sidious was released in 1999, but holds up remarkably well with figures produced more than 10 years later
The articulation details are as follows: swivel neck, 2 swivel shoulders, 2 swivel elbows, 2 swivel wrists, swivel waist, 2 swivel legs
Cloaked in flowing robes and shrouded in evil, Darth Sidious
is a Dark Lord of the Sith and the mysterious power behind the Trade Federation's blockade of Naboo.
As he conspires and manipulates, he keeps his presence - and his true intentions hidden - well hidden.
