This Imperial Commander action figure was released in
2011 in The Vintage Collection.
It was exclusively available at Target.
Hasbro gave the figure 14 points of articulation and included
two accessories (imperial cap, blaster).
Here is what we noticed when we took a closer look at the figure:
- This Imperial Commander was available in a 3-pack titled "Imperial Set" as a Target exclusive in 2011
- The other two figures in the set were the AT-AT Driver and Bounty Hunter Dengar
- The Imperial Commander is a repack of the 2009 Legacy Collection Captain Needa figure
- Here is a side-by-side comparison of both figures: Captain Needa Figures
- The hat is removable, and it fits well on top of the head
- The figure can hold the blaster well in both hands
- The Imperial Commander stands well without a stand
The articulation details are as follows: ball-jointed neck, 2 ball-jointed shoulders, 2 ball-jointed elbows, 2 swivel wrists, swivel waist, 2 swivel legs, 2 ball-jointed knees, 2 ball-jointed ankles
