This Luke Skywalker action figure was released in
2012 in the Movie Heroes toy line.
Hasbro gave the figure five joints and included
two accessories (blue lightsaber, blaster).
Here is what we noticed when we took a closer look at the Jedi:
- This Luke Skywalker figure was released in June 2012 in a battle pack titled "Bespin Battle" together with Boba Fett and Darth Vader
- The figure is a homage to the original vintage Kenner figure from 1980
- The figure stands well without a stand
- The blaster fits well into the right hand
- Unfortunately, the blaster is a little bit too big for the holster (it fits, but not as well as it should)
- The blue lightsaber fits OK into the left hand
- Overall, this Bespin Luke is a nice tribute to the original vintage Kenner figure from 1980. Hasbro managed to capture the simplicity of the original Luke Bespin quite well and managed to add a touch of "vintage feeling" to a modern figure
- If you are looking for a super articulated, more movie accurate figure, please have a look at the Vintage Collection Bespin Luke
The articulation details are as follows: ball-jointed neck, 2 swivel arms, 2 swivel legs
