This Obi-Wan Kenobi action figure was released in
2012 in the Movie Heroes toy line.
Hasbro gave the figure five joints and included
one accessory (blue lightsaber).
Here is what we noticed when we took a closer look at the Jedi:
- This Obi-Wan Kenobi figure was released in June 2012 in a battle pack titled "Duel On Naboo" together with Qui-Gon Jinn and Darth Maul
- Obi-Wan's lightsaber fits only loosely into both hands
- The figure stands overall well without a stand
- There was no jedi robe included
- The upper body of the figure is buffer than what it really should be (not as bad as on the MH Light-Up Obi-Wan, but still noticable)
- The head is sculpted beautifully and captures the likness of the young Ewan McGregor very well
- This version of Obi-Wan is pretty sturdy and with only five joints it is very suitable for children to play with
- If you are looking for a more articulated version, please take a look at our Obi-Wan Kenobi archive
- This very same figure was re-released in 2013 in the Class 1 vehicle assortment: Obi-Wan Kenobi with MTT Droid Fighter
The articulation details are as follows: ball-jointed neck, 2 swivel arms, 2 swivel legs
