This Obi-Wan Kenobi action figure was released in
1995 in the Power Of The Force 2 Collection.
Hasbro gave the figure six joints and included
two accessories (blue lightsaber, plastic robe).
Here is what we noticed when we took a closer look at the Jedi:
- This Obi-Wan Kenobi figure was the first figure released of this character in 1995 after the vintage line had officially ended in 1985
-
First the figure shipped with a lightsaber which was too long and caused the figure to fall over, this was fixed and the figure shipped later with a much shorter, much more in-scale lightsaber
-
Obi-Wan's jedi robe is made out of plastic and can be taken off the figure
-
The lightsaber handle fits well into both hands
-
The figure has problems standing on its own, even with no lightsaber in the hand
The articulation details are as follows: swivel neck, 2 swivel arms, swivel waist, 2 swivel legs

Trained by the Jedi Master Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi learned the ways of the Force and became a Jedi Knight. He successfully defended the Old Republic in the Clone Wars and was hailed as a hero. He took on his own apprentice, the young Anakin Skywalker. But Obi-Wan was not yet ready to pass on the way of the Jedi, and his student became impatient with the rigors of Jedi training. Skywalker allowed himself to be seduced by the dark side of the Force. Taking the name Darth Vader, he pledged allegiance to the evil Senator Palpatine and went on to hunt down and kill the remaining Jedi Knights in the name of the Galactic Empire. Kenobi felt responsible for Skywalker's fall, and determined to stop his one time pupil. He confronted and defeated Vader in an epic lightsaber duel, leaving his broken body for dead.
