This Padmé Amidala figure was released in September 2009 in The Legacy Collection's wave 8, which was based on The Phantom Menace. Queen Amidala could be seen wearing this specific outfit when she traveled from Coruscant back to Naboo, right after Palpatine was voted into office. Amidala also wore this outfit during the Qui-Gon Jinn funeral scenes.
Padmé has a disappointing 9 joints, which for a main character these days isn't many. Even though the neck is ball-jointed, you can barely move the head due to the hard-plastic headdress going down her back and both sides of the face. The elbows are ball-jointed, but again, due to the hard-plastic sleeves, you can barely use them. Padmé's legs are molded individually but can't be moved. Because of that you can't adjust Padmé's stance and the figure leans over to the left.
The paint application is applied OK, but it's nothing to write home about. Padmé appears to have an entirely white painted face in the movie and this figure has more of a brownish skin tone to it.
All in all, this Padmé figure fits right in with some of the politician-like figures in terms of the look and feel, which is nice. However, considering that Padmé Amidala is a main character, this figure would have deserved more attention in terms of joints and movie accuracy.
