This Plo Koon action figure was released during the Legacy Collection's basic line-up in November 2009's Revenge Of The Sith wave. Plo Koon can be seen in several scenes in Revenge Of The Sith and gets his close-up shot during the execution of Order 66.
The figure has 14 joints, and articulated ankles and knees eliminate any balancing problems. With so many joints you should be able to make the figure fit into your display, whether it be on a Jedi Council chair, a Jedi Starfighter cockpit, or any battle scene. Hasbro included 3 accessories with the figure, a removable breathing mask, a blue lightsaber and a double-bladed lightsaber gauntlet which can be removed. The basic lightsaber fits well into Plo Koon's right hand, but it doesn't fit into his left. The breathing mask can be removed, and reveals Plo Koon's creepy looking face underneath. The mask itself sits very, very loosely on the face and is very likely to fall off when you move the figure. The included double-bladed lightsaber gauntlet was never seen in any of the movies and is based on concept sketches by artist Derek Thompson. The gauntlet can be attached to either of the Jedi Master's arms and stays firmly attached. Plo Koon's soft goods skirt is permanently attached and cannot be removed.
The paint application is basic with various brown colors on the Jedi Master's tunic and boots without any weathering. However, the paint job in the facial area is very nicely done, highlighting the Jedi's veins and adding a level of realism to it. All in all, this Plo Koon action figure is well done and will make a great addition to any star wars collection.
