This R5-D4 action figure was released in
2012 in The Vintage Collection.
It was exclusively available at Target.
Hasbro gave the figure five joints and included
one accessory (removable antenna).
Here is what we noticed when we took a closer look at the Droid:
- Astromech Droid R5-D4 was released in a Target exclusive 3-pack in 2012 together with a Power Droid and a Death Star Droid
- The droid is a re-release of the 2006 R5-D4 from the SAGA Collection
- All three feet have rolls in them
- R5-D4's middle leg can be taken off
- The dome makes the clicking sound when rotated and moves the motivator in and out on the top of the dome
- The antenna can be removed
- The droid misses the blue front stripe (a detail which was on TVC R5-D4)
- It also misses three red stripes on the back
- The droid is nicely weathered
- It's an overall great looking figure
The articulation details are as follows: swivel dome, 2 swivel legs, 2 swivel ankles
