This figure is a re-release of the Tie Fighter Pilot which was released during the SAGA Collection in 2004. The helmet is not removable and for some strange reason Hasbro didn't give the figure any articulation in the left elbow. Not even the waist is movable. The figure's strong point is definitely the look of it, because it looks what everybody remembers from the movies (even though there were different color coded helmets!). Overall it's a nice action figure which is a great addition to your imperial army! On a side note: even though The Empire Strikes Back had Tie Fighters and Tie Bombers in the movie, Tie Pilots were never seen on screen.
TIE fighter pilots are part of the evil Empire's combat forces. These dedicated warriors fly into battle against the heroic Rebels. Completely loyal to the Emperor, they are trained to ignore their personal safety for the sake of their mission. As the Rebel pilots attempt to destroy the Death Star, the TIE pilots battle to save the Empire's deadly weapon.
