This Yoda action figure was released in
2007 in The Anniversary Collection.
Hasbro gave the figure ten points of articulation and included
six accessories (green lightsaber, lightsaber hilt, soft-goods jedi robe, kybuck, bandolier, coin).
Here is what we noticed when we took a closer look at the Jedi:
- Jedi Master Yoda (with Kybuck) was released individually carded
This version of Yoda is based on Yoda's appearance in the 2003 - 2005 Tartakovsky Clone Wars cartoon
Yoda's soft goods jedi robe is a good fit, it even has two holes in it so that the ears can be pulled through
The back of the robe has another hole in it, where the lightsaber holster fits through (awesome!)
The bandolier which goes across Yoda's chest is removable
The non-ignited lightsaber hilt fits nicely into the holster on the back
The green lightsaber fits well into the right hand, but not into the left
The figure stands well without help from a stand
The included Kybuck creature is nicely detailed and Yoda can be plugged onto a peg on the saddle
All in all, this is a nice set, especially when considered that Hasbro released it in the basic figure assortment
The articulation details are as follows: ball-jointed neck, 2 ball-jointed shoulders, 2 swivel wrists, swivel waist, 2 swivel legs, 2 swivel ankles
Yoda receives a Kybuck as a gift for healing an ailing Wookiee princess on Kashyyyk. The Jedi Master forms a bond of friendship with this swift herbivore. When General Grievous attacks Coruscant during the Clone Wars, Yoda sometimes rides the Kybuck during skirmishes but keeps the creature safely away from any danger.
