This version of Jedi Master Yoda was released individually carded during the
Vintage
Collection in February 2011. The figure is based on Yoda's appearance in Revenge Of The Sith.
Yoda has 14 points of articulation, including a ball-jointed neck, 2 ball-jointed shoulders, 2 swivel elbows, 2 swivel wrists, a swivel waist, 2 swivel legs, 2 ball-jointed knees and 2 ball-jointed ankles. This is quite a lot for such a
small figure! Yoda balances out very nicely by himself without the help from a stand. There were 4 accessories included with the figure, a green lightsaber, a walking stick, a jedi robe and blue force-lightning. The lightsaber fits well into
the right hand, but it doesn't fit into the left. Unfortunately, the walking stick doesn't fit well into either
hand, but if the figure is on display, it's possible to "lean" the walking stick onto the hands.
The blue force-lightning is a surprisingly good fit for Yoda's left hand. The hand actually
plugs into the force-lightning, and it fits so well, that even with the hand raised, the force-lightning stays attached. The jedi robe
is a good fit, and it isn't as bulky as it might seem at first.
The paint job on Master Yoda is pretty well done, especially the "dirt" or "burn marks" on the jedi robe look cool. The rest of the figure is what you would expect, with a brown body suit and a green skin tone. The figure's sculpt is nicely done with 14 joints, and the head sculpt is pretty convincing as well.
All in all, this Yoda from The Vintage Collection is a
nice addition to the line-up of Revenge Of The Sith figures.
