This cartoon-style version of Mace Windu was released individually carded in 2003/2004, and was later re-carded again in 2005.
The figure is based on Mace Windu's appearance in the Genndy Tartakovsky Clone Wars cartoon.
Mace Windu has 5 swivel joints, including a swivel neck, 2 swivel arms, a right swivel forearm and a swivel waist. Thanks to the big boots and the wide stance, Mace Windu stands very securely by himself without the need for a stand. The purple lightsaber stays tightly in his right hand. All the clothes, including the jedi robe, are part of the mold and can't be removed.
The paint job on Mace Windu is done OK, but feels quite simple. The sculpt, with its limited joints, does a good job capturing the likeness of Mace Windu as seen in the Original Clone Wars show. Like with all the Clone Wars figures in the
Tartakovsky Clone Wars series, this version of Mace Windu was clearly made for kids.
