This Darth Vader action figure was released in
2012 in the Movie Heroes toy line.
Hasbro gave the figure five joints and included
two accessories (red lightsaber, plastic cape).
Here is what we noticed when we took a closer look at the Sith:
- This Darth Vader figure was released in June 2012 in a battle pack titled "Bespin Battle" together with Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett
- The figure captures the moment in The Empire Strikes Back, when Vader reaches out to Luke with his left hand on the Bespin platform
- The soft-plastic cape is removable and wraps nicely around Vader's neck
- The lightsaber is a good fit for the right hand
- None of the helmet pieces are removable
- The figure stands well without a stand
- It's an overall well done figure, which is quite different from Darth Vader figures released before 2012
- If you are looking for a Darth Vader figure with better character likeness and more articulation, please have a look around our gradually growing Darth Vader archive
The articulation details are as follows: swivel neck, 2 swivel arms, 2 swivel legs
