This Spacetrooper action figure was released in
1998 in the Power Of The Force 2 Collection.
Hasbro gave the figure five joints and included
one accessory (jet-pack thrusters).
Here is what we noticed when we took a closer look at the Clone Trooper:
- This Spacetrooper was released in the POTF2 "Expanded Universe" sub-line
- This very same character was re-done by Hasbro in 2010's Legacy Collection with much more detail and articulation: TLC Spacetrooper
- The non-removable shoulder armor is permantently attached to the body and the head, which doesn't allow for the head to be turned
- The left underarm has a hidden panel, which when opened reveals a hidden cannon
- The thrusters of the jet-pack can be moved slightly up and down, and they can be taken off the figure
- The figure stands well without a stand
The articulation details are as follows: 2 swivel arms, swivel waist, 2 swivel legs
Packaging Text
Five years after the Battle of Endor, the Rebel Alliance has driven the evil Empire into a distant corner of the galaxy. But a new danger has arisen: the last of the Emperor's warlords has devised a battle plan that could destroy the New Republic.
The ability of Spacetroopers to operate exclusively in space made them a valuable asset to the warlord, Grand Admiral Thrawn. These heavily armed stormtroopers wear full-body armor and have equipment that enables them to function as personal space-capable assault vehicles.
