This R4-G9 action figure was released in
2005 in the Revenge Of The Sith Collection.
Hasbro gave the figure six joints and included
one accessory (planet hologram).
Here is what we noticed when we took a closer look at the Droid:
- Astromech Droid R4-G9 was released individually carded as a sneak preview figure
- The figure came with a planet hologram which can be plugged into a hole in the front of the dome
- The idea is great, but unfortunately the hologram is too heavy and causes the droid to loose its balance if you can't find just the right spot on how to position it
- The top of the dome has red see-through plastic in it, when light shines on it, the front eye of the droid will "light-up"
- Rotating the dome moves the middle leg into the body (or out of the body if you rotate it the other way)
- All three feet have rolls in them
- There are no hidden panels or other gadgets built into this droid
The articulation details are as follows: rotating dome, 2 swivel legs, 3 swivel ankles
