This Clone Trooper action figure was released in
2006 in The Saga Collection.
Hasbro gave the figure 14 points of articulation and included
four accessories (blaster, helmet, stand, random holographic figure).
Here is what we noticed when we took a closer look at the Clone Trooper:
- This Clone Trooper (Combat Engineer | Battle Support Soldiers) was released individually carded
The figure's helmet covers the head nicely
The helmet can be removed
The blaster fits well into both hands
The trooper keeps his balance nicely without a stand
Hasbro released two other Clone Troopers with the same color markings during the 2005 ROTS series in the Episode III DVD Collection 3-pack:
Clone Trooper standing and Clone Trooper kneeling
The articulation details are as follows: ball-jointed neck, 2 ball-jointed shoulders, 2 ball-jointed elbows, 2 swivel wrists, swivel waist, 2 swivel legs, 2 ball-jointed knees, 2 ball-jointed ankles
Combat engineer troopers are assigned to armored divisions with heavy artillery units such as HAVW-"Juggernaut" turbo tanks, SPHA-T mobile turbolasers, and other massive war machines. Part of the 38th Armored Division, Combat Engineer Battalion, they are sent anywhere armored ground support is needed during the Clone Wars.
