Bespin Guard Utris M'Toc was released in the final wave of The Legacy Collection in May 2010. Utris M'Toc never made it into the final cut of The Empire Strikes Back, hence the character is part of the expanded universe.
For this figure, Hasbro utilized the same mold as for Sergeant Edian, but gave it a new head and a white body color. Utris is super articulated with 14 joints, including a ball-jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, knees and ankles. There are swivel joints in both wrists, the waist and both legs. Thanks to adjustable knees and ankles, Utris M'Toc has no balancing issues. The figure came wit the same accessories as Sergeant Edian, which were a removable hat, a stun baton, a blaster, and 2 removable holsters. The hat doesn't fit too well on the alien's head, and is a very loose fit and looks a little bit too small. However, the other accessories all work nicely. The blaster is a perfect fit for the holster, and the Utris M'Toc's left hand. The stun baton is a great fit for the figure's right hand, and it also fits very well into the holster on the right side of the figure's waist. The Bespin Guard has two holes on each side of the waist where both holsters can be plugged in. It's great that Hasbro was able to make both holsters in scale with the figure, and make them work for the weapons at the same time.
The paint application on Utris M'Toc is well done, especially the face is painted well. Unfortunately, both holsters are still kept in a simple gray without any weathering or accents, just like they were on the Sergeant Edian figure. All things considered, Utris M'Toc turned out very nicely. And even though the character was never seen in any of the Cloud City sequences, the figure will still make a nice addition to any Bespin diorama and add some variety to your Bespin Security force!
