This version of Jedi Master Mace Windu was released individually carded during the Vintage Collection in late January 2011. The figure is based on Master Windu’s appearance in Attack Of The Clones.
Mace Windu has 14 points of articulation, including a ball-jointed neck, 2 ball-jointed
shoulders, 2 ball-jointed elbows, 2 swivel wrists, a ball-jointed waist, 2 swivel legs, 2 ball-jointed knees
and 2 ball-jointed ankles. Mace Windu balances out very well without a stand and the two included
lightsabers (one with an ignited purple blade and one hilt) fit tightly into both hands.
The hilt can be plugged into a little hole in the waist, where it stays firmly attached.
Mace Windu’s jedi robe is on the bulky side, but it can easily be put on and covers the figure
well.
The paint job on Mace Windu is cleanly applied and looks good. Where this figure
truly shines though is with the head sculpt, which really nails the likeness to Sam Jackson from Episode II
and Episode III perfectly. The sculpt with its 14 well hidden joints should also please any fan of this
character. All things considered, this Mace Windu figure can be considered the best
available version of the Jedi Master as of this review.
