Kenner/Hasbro has continuously released Holographic and Spirit Star Wars figures over the years. Most of these figures (not all) are re-releases of previous versions, but with a different translucent blue, green or purple appearance. In some cases, Hasbro tried different approaches to give figures a more movie-like look by adding colors to some of them (OTC Spirit Obi-Wan Kenobi, Holographic Luke Skywalker, Spirit Anakin). The only noteable variation found in the hologram figures is in the ROTS Holographic Obi-Wan Kenobi figure, which was first released in a dark blue color, and then later in light blue.
